This is CEO, Y.S. Hello, everyone.
Since there is a lot of my career information on the Kokusaika JP Web, using an initial might be a bit strange. However, I want to write this blog by the name of Y.S. … Here we go.
A while ago, I was told by somebody “You’re exposing your information a lot.” Exposing? How embarrassing!
Well but, I receive email messages directed to me once in a while. Some are from abroad. Most of them are from India and China. In most cases, messages are telling “just want to do business with you”. Occasionally, there are persons who write his or her detailed proposals after looking at our business details, my profile and activities on our Web.
When I was young, I was working for DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation). I’ve got a chance to attend engineers international meetings as a company representative since I was twenties. Although I was still a nobody and speaking poor English, they were listening to me because I was a DEC’s rep. I was impressed and felt what a great company DEC was! I strengthened my determination to become qualified as a representative of DEC.
As time went by, I experienced large-scale M&A twice and the company name “DEC” was disappeared. However, I was referenced as … of ex-DEC for a while. Several years later, I became a person who can work by the name of myself independent from the company’s name.
As time went by again, I decided to establish and develop my own company. I was alone at the beginning. This time, I needed to transfer my own personal confidence to the company and raise the value of the company. Since I had a unique career and it could be a strength, I went ahead and exposed my career information as a fact.
In this June, the company will celebrate the third anniversary. We’ve been walking very slowly compared to a normal technology-based venture firm. However, good members have joined and we have added achievements one by one.
I know there is a long way to reach there but I want to build a company which can support its members work just like DEC did for me. I’ m happy if you continue to be interested in our company.
Thanks for reading my first posting to the I18N blog. Stay tuned.
