I went for “OHANAMI” consicutively on last weekend.
“OHANAMI” is the Japanese traditional custom, watching the cherry blossoms with foods and drink on the park, with fellow or colleagues.
Fisrt one is at “YASUKUNI” shirine, very crowded with many office workers.
I wonder how the foreigners felt about it because most of people there were into eating and drinking, so nobody watched the blossom(^^;), of course including us.
(We call it “HANAYORI-DANGO”, meaning “prefer to eating delisious food than watching beatiful blosoom”)
This is the pictute of it, but not clear…
Second one is at “KOMAZAWA” park with my prvate and business frind, Finnish guy and his wife (Japanese, she is also my wife’s friend).
They retuned to his contry next day, and we are missing them.
But we were invited to thier marriage party in Finland, so we’ll go and meet them again in July,
this is “Farewell” but not “So long”.
(They are newly marriaged couple, and also us, so it wiil be our honey m0on.)
